Construction on the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex is officially underway. The June 7 groundbreaking ceremony signified the beginning of construction on a long-awaited sports field house in Wesley Chapel that is expected to provide more athletic and economic opportunities in Pasco County. The $44 million sports complex will be a public/private partnership, owned by the county and operated/managed by RADD Sports. The land, 138 acres of prime real estate, was donated in 2014 to Pasco County by the Porter family, developers of Wiregrass Ranch. The project is expected to be finished by late 2019.
