PHSCWalletHub analysts recently ranked Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) as offering the highest return on educational investment among a cohort of 821 community colleges.  Also ranking first is Valencia College (FL); Coastline College (CA); Northern Oklahoma College (OK); Cochise County Community College District (AZ).

PHSC also received national rankings of 15th in the career outcomes category and 39th overall. “These numbers validate the good we are doing for the two counties we serve.  They also confirm we are diligent in our work to provide high quality, accessible and affordable educational opportunities within a diverse teaching and learning environment for students to achieve academic success,” said Timothy L. Beard, PHSC president.

Other significant WalletHub rankings include the Florida College System ranked fourth in the nation and the PHSC overall ranking of third among 28 Florida two-year colleges. “Our students have every reason to be proud of the college they attend,” said Beard.

To determine the best community colleges in the U.S., analysts compared 821 such institutions across three key dimensions, including: Cost & Financing, Education Outcomes and Career Outcomes. According to WalletHub, data used to create these rankings were collected from the National Center for Education Statistics, Council for Community and Economic Research, and College Measures.
