At more than 98,000 square feet the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County is perfect for all sports lovers. This expansive athletic campus will welcome athletes from all over the country to enjoy playing and watching from center court to center field.
Phase One of the Campus includes 8 bio-cushioned hardwood regulation basketball courts, which can hold additional utilizations such as gymnastics, wrestling, soccer, mixed martial arts and more! The campus also includes dedicated cheerleading and gymnastic areas, fitness center with all new speed, strength, flexibility and agility equipment, team & coaches’ area, double sports field and event lawn, running and bike trails, an amphitheater and more! The Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus is also working with hotel partners to provide adequate lodging and hospitality to meet future sports tourism needs.
Fortunately, through the pandemic, construction has been going smoothly and the estimated construction completion date remains on schedule for late Summer 2020. The indoor facility equipment has been installed, with scoreboards, volleyball nets, baskets and more ready for use. 21 events have already been scheduled within the facility beginning this Fall and many more are expected as group sports begin for all ages.
